The Church of England is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Leadership Development Specialist to join our Ministry Development Team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of Christian leaders who will be faithful to their calling, fruitful in their work, and flourish as children of God.
Main Responsibilities- Design and Deliver Leadership Programs: Develop and implement high-quality leadership development programs for senior clergy, including residential modules, mentoring, action-learning, and senior leadership experiences.
- Lead Facilitation and Expert Input: Act as the lead facilitator on each module, providing expert input and guidance to participants.
- Expertise and Partnerships: Identify, commission, and brief internal and external experts to provide high-quality input to the programs.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring support to senior leaders, including transition coaching for deans and bishops.
- Ministerial Development Review: Support the Ministerial Development Review process for deans and bishops, providing tools and resources to enable effective reviews.
- Evaluation and Impact: Collate trends and data from evaluations and participants to inform future program design and demonstrate impact.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present at governance meetings and project boards to consult with and influence senior leaders across the Church.
- Administrative Support: Manage administrative support provided by a Project Coordinator.
- Measurement and Evaluation: Assess the contribution of the various learning interventions in building strategic capacity across the Church.
- Tool Development: Develop the use of fresh tools, such as psychometric tools, to support senior clergy in their development planning.
- Bespoke Learning Interventions: Develop and facilitate bespoke learning interventions for various groups, including action-learning groups and development for BAME clergy.
- Knowledge Capital: Contribute to the development and facilitation of knowledge capital on leadership in the Church.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Leadership Development Specialist who is a practising Christian. You will have a strong understanding of Christian leadership development and a proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality leadership programs.
You will be a strong communicator and facilitator, able to work effectively with senior leaders across the Church. You will also have excellent project management skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a salary of £66,186 plus age-related pension contributions, 30 days annual leave, and flexible working hours.
