Public Practice Recruitment Ltd is seeking an exceptional Senior Tax Manager to join their team in Taunton to oversee the tax department, provide compliance and advisory services for personal and corporate clients, and support the junior team.

This role offers a high degree of flexibility and the possibility for hybrid or remote working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and review personal and corporate tax returns
  • Ensure client assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with the wider tax team, utilising resource effectively to maximise client service
  • Provide high-level tax compliance and tax advisory services to clients
  • Research specialist tax issues as required and formulate solutions
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring awareness of their requirements
  • Recognise and respond to clients' business needs, providing quality tax advice

Requirements

  • CTA and/or ACCA/ACA/CA qualified with several years' experience at a senior level in a tax team, managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Strong personal tax advisory experience, prepared to hit the ground running and support the leadership team with the mentoring and development of the junior staff
