About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic team in Taunton. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in supporting our diverse client portfolio and working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the commercial aspects of portfolio management and provide regular updates to Partners
  • Support with tax compliance assignments, including the preparation and review of corporation and personal tax returns
  • Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem-solving
  • Keep up-to-date with technical research to support complex tax issues
  • Champion your own professional development with an eagerness to learn and progress
  • Support Managers and Partners by undertaking ad-hoc projects where required

Requirements
  • ATT or CTA qualified, or studying with at least 1 year's tax experience
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A self-motivated team player able to work closely with senior management
