Senior Tax Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Taunton. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for leading a team of tax professionals and delivering high-quality tax services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of tax professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to drive business growth and improve client relationships.
  • Manage tax calculations and planning for high-net-worth individuals, including non-domicile, inheritance, and estates.
  • Lead HMRC queries and work directly with clients to prepare defence statements.
  • Deliver sound technical knowledge and expertise in capital gains tax planning and trust tax compliance.
  • Support the firm's strategic direction by identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with trusted and long-lasting advice.
  • Review and recommend new processes to improve workflow and ROI.
  • Provide supportive mentorship to junior team members and set an example as a proactive and hands-on Manager.
