About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Market Analyst to join our team at Smithers Information. As a key member of our strategic consultancy team, you will play a crucial role in helping businesses grow, launch new products, and expand into new markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify key trends, players, and market shares.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and consistent market data and statistics.
  • Design and implement what-if financial and market sizing models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop market research surveys and reports.
  • Write high-quality commentary and analysis on research findings.
  • Develop and present graphical representations of data and insights.
  • Present and defend research findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Maintain and update internal market databases and generate data scenarios using statistical and economic models.

Requirements

  • Experience in market sizing and analysis is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, or marketing.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Familiarity with industry analysis frameworks, such as Porter's Five Forces.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
