Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and manage the company's tax reporting and filing requirements.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Coordinate and support annual financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Cash Management: Manage daily cash flow, and working capital, to optimize liquidity.
  • Financial Systems: Collaborate with the wider team to improve and enhance financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Financial Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine financial processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to provide financial information and support for decision-making.

Requirements

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
  • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
