Job Description

**Financial Planning Analyst**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at Thames Water. As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our annual planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of financial planning and forecasting models
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support business intelligence
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial planning and reporting efficiency

Requirements:

  • Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, CHAE or equivalent)
  • Experience with SAP and financial planning systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
