Job Title: Medical Rota Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Rota Coordinator to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the Medical Rostering Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical and dental staff rotas.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating Junior Doctors' rotas, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and the Working Time Directive (WTD). This will involve effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, as well as supporting the Guardian of Safe Working in recording and processing exception reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate Junior Doctors' rotas to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and the Working Time Directive (WTD)
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of rotas
  • Support the Guardian of Safe Working in recording and processing exception reports
  • Provide a comprehensive service to all Medical and Dental staff

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
  • Good general education to GCSE level or equivalent with a relevant qualification
  • Current experience of working in the NHS
  • Experience of working with Medical and Dental staff and complex rotas (desirable)
