Job Overview

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking dedicated Pharmacy Support Technicians for our Heartlands facility. Applicants should possess a minimum of NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services, along with substantial experience in a high-volume dispensary environment, and a commitment to exceptional customer care. This role offers a chance to engage in our automated pharmacy systems, directly contributing to patient welfare within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately under supervision
  • Assist in the procurement and management of pharmaceuticals
  • Recognize potential medication-related concerns

  • Safely deliver dispensed medications to patients
  • Maintain precise records of patient medication
  • Work collaboratively with team members to improve pharmacy automation
