Chief Compliance Officer

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Compliance Officer to join our team at cer Financial. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our cross-border transactions/payments business operates in compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global business that is undergoing an FCA application process. You will be responsible for ensuring we have the necessary staff in place to meet regulatory obligations and support the growth of our UK-based business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of our compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with our payments industry experts to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Provide guidance and support to our staff on compliance matters, ensuring a culture of compliance throughout the organization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, including the FCA, to ensure we are up-to-date on regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Compliance Officer or equivalent role in the payments industry
  • Strong knowledge of the FCA regulatory framework and ability to articulate this
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
