Position Overview

As a leader in the Design team, you will provide knowledge, guidance, and direction, ensuring that the department operates at its highest potential while effectively communicating relevant information and challenges. You will set a standard for excellence to fulfill Company expectations regarding quality, efficiency, continuous improvement, 5S, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the design department, offering support and expertise across the organization as required.
  • Work in conjunction with other departments to optimize business performance and enhance workflow.
  • Execute design briefs from both internal and external clients.
  • Produce working drawings for production purposes.
  • Manage mid to medium complexity projects.
  • Develop customer presentations.
  • Create 3D renders utilizing AGCAD software.
  • Design for manufacturability, approving initial orders and providing operational assistance as necessary.
  • Engage with clients, which may include occasional travel for meetings and presentations.
  • Recruit, mentor, supervise, and develop a small team of design professionals, establishing objectives and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to provide case studies and content that align with the overarching Marketing Strategy.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and stay informed about new products that can assist clients in achieving their sustainability goals.

Candidate Profile

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Fefco standards, corrugated machinery, and a minimum of two years of experience in the corrugated packaging sector.
