Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing fire protection systems for a variety of applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop sprinkler system designs for large and small works projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and subcontractors to develop and maintain professional relationships.
  • Prepare technical documentation, installation drawings, and coordination models.
  • Conduct on-site surveys and ensure compliance with relevant design standards and project specifications.
  • Specify equipment and prepare certification and O&M documentation.
  • Participate in review meetings with clients and coordination meetings with external subcontractors.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of LPCB Basic design qualification.
  • LPCB Intermediate and FHC design qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of LPC sprinkler rules is essential. Knowledge of FM & NFPA standards would be an advantage.
  • A degree or HND in a relatable discipline would be an advantage.
  • Relevant technical design experience and the preparation of technical documentation and drawings.
  • Minimum five years' experience in the design of fire sprinkler systems. Experience of water mist, hydrants & dry/wet riser systems would be an advantage.
