Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced compliance leader to oversee our Compliance Division. As the Chief Compliance Officer at Alter Domus, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and standards for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer, and Money Laundering Compliance Officer for Alter Domus entities.
  • Perform regular compliance risk evaluations and testing to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure that all internal policies, procedures, and guidelines are effective and up to date.
  • Provide comprehensive reports to the Board and senior management on compliance issues.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and risk management throughout the organization.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing compliance team.

Your Qualifications:

- Extensive knowledge of the regulatory and anti-money laundering framework in Jersey.
- At least 10 years of experience in the Financial Services sector, specifically in Compliance.
- Proven experience in roles such as Compliance Officer, MLRO, or MLCO within a regulated environment.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies.
- Possession of the International Diploma in Compliance or Anti-Money Laundering.
- Experience in mentoring and developing compliance and AML professionals.
