Retail Store Manager

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, a leading provider of rehabilitation services, seeks a highly skilled Retail Shop Team Leader to assist in the operation of our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Retail Store Manager in overseeing the overall operation of the store, including customer service, sales, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including reporting any incidents or irregularities.
- Resolve customer complaints in a fair and impartial manner, escalating complex issues to the store manager as needed.
- Provide coaching, training, and supervision to retail associates, ensuring they meet job-related responsibilities and performance expectations.
- Monitor sales transactions, ensuring accurate processing and adherence to sales procedures.
- Handle escalated or complex sales or customer-related issues, providing solutions that meet customer needs.
- Train and delegate work assignments to Donation Attendants, Merchandise Processors, and Sales Associates.
- Work a flexible schedule to support store opening, production, and closing operations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and associates in English.
- Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Specific vision abilities required for computer work.
