Perth, Perth and Kinross, United Kingdom NHS Scotland Full time

NHS Scotland is dedicated to fostering equality and diversity within our workforce, striving to eliminate any form of unlawful discrimination. Our goal is to ensure that our workforce is truly representative, allowing every employee to feel valued and empowered to perform at their best.

Are you ready to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team focused on enhancing the health of individuals in the community?

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Band 6 Community Dietitian to become part of our vibrant and supportive teams in Tayside. This role presents an excellent chance to provide a comprehensive range of community-based nutritional care, with a strong focus on nutrition support, including home enteral feeding, within various community settings.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage closely with other health and care professionals, adopting a proactive approach to patient care, service enhancement, education, and the development of care pathways.

Additionally, the post holder will oversee the work of Dietetic Support Workers and/or a Band 5 Rotational Dietitian. Therefore, exceptional teamwork and communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to work autonomously.

The Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service encourages collaborative efforts across all teams in diverse settings and specialties. This approach promotes the development and implementation of care pathways, standards, and innovative practices, while also providing extensive peer support and opportunities for professional growth. We are committed to training dietetic students, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.

It is essential that candidates are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
