Class Teacher: Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Class Teacher to join our team at Underley Garden School, a large school with small class sizes, focusing on pupils and young people, aged 5-19, who have a range of complex needs associated with autism and learning disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment for the pupils and promoting positive relationships between peers. We are looking for a teacher who has a therapeutic approach to their teaching and learning, with experience of working with Autistic pupils and a willingness to teach and lead on a curriculum area(s).
The ideal candidate will be educated to Qualified Teacher Status, calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.
