We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Class Teacher - SEN to join our team at Underley Garden School in Kirkby Lonsdale. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in developing a curriculum and promoting positive relationships between peers.
The ideal candidate will have a therapeutic approach to teaching and learning, with experience working with Autistic pupils. You will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting the academic and personal growth of our students.

As a Class Teacher - SEN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, aged 5-19, who have complex needs associated with autism and learning disabilities. You will be part of a supportive team that prioritizes the wellbeing and success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of our students
- Create a positive and safe learning environment
- Work with the Headteacher to develop a therapeutic approach to teaching and learning
- Support students with complex needs, including Autistic pupils
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote positive relationships between peers
