Position Overview

Are you a dedicated Pharmacist seeking a specialized opportunity within the realm of Gastroenterology services? We invite you to explore this unique position that diverges from traditional roles.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Gastroenterology team, which includes Consultants, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and Specialist Nursing personnel. The primary focus of this position is to deliver expert Pharmacy contributions to the Gastroenterology team, assisting with the prescription and oversight of biologic medications. As the role progresses, there will be ample opportunities to engage with a broader spectrum of Gastroenterology.

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was formed by merging the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust with Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust, establishing one of the largest NHS Trusts in the UK. This exciting role is embedded within the Gastroenterology Specialist team, offering a departure from conventional Pharmacy routines.
