Principal Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a challenging role with a leading electrical engineering consultancy? We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer with expertise in large-scale commercial clients. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with our business development team to identify target clients and create consultancy proposals. You will also operate as project and technical lead on projects, supervising team members where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify target clients and create consultancy proposals
  • Operate as project and technical lead on projects, supervising team members where necessary
  • Support the technical and consultancy development of more junior members of the team
  • Attend conferences, seminars, and industry events to maintain our standing as a premier electrical engineering consultancy
  • Work closely with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the work being completed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise and competence in electrical engineering
  • Experience working with large-scale commercial clients
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
