Job Title: Head of Digital, Media, Content and Social

Job Summary:

Investec, a leading Specialist Bank, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our digital marketing efforts. As the Head of Digital, Media, Content and Social, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital media strategy that aligns with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a digital media strategy that drives business growth and enhances our brand presence.
  • Team Management: Build and manage a high-performing team to deliver top-notch content and media strategies across various product and business verticals.
  • Content Strategy: Oversee the creation and execution of a content marketing strategy that effectively reaches target audiences and supports business objectives.
  • Performance Optimization: Utilize best practices in digital marketing to enhance our brand performance within set resource limits.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with global tech teams and colleagues to create a cohesive and aligned approach.
  • Agency Management: Manage relationships with external agencies to ensure optimal value and performance.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to drive content and channel strategy, ensuring alignment with client revenue targets and corporate objectives.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging media opportunities and technologies to keep Investec at the forefront of digital marketing.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record in leading digital marketing teams within mid to large-sized corporates.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital marketing services, including SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and conversion optimization.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Creative & Strategic Thinking: Excellent strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to blend different marketing services to create effective strategies.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Marketing Automation platforms and ad platforms.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Industry Experience: Background in financial services.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with PPC, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and CRM systems.
