About the Role

Nursery People is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern nursery setting, providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Create a Stimulating Environment: Design and implement engaging activities that foster children's curiosity and exploration, promoting a love for learning and development.
  • Plan and Implement Activities: Develop and deliver age-appropriate activities that meet the needs of each child, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met.
  • Provide Daily Care Routines: Ensure the well-being and happiness of each child through daily care routines, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents.
  • Observe and Assess Progress: Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents.
Requirements
  • Recognised Qualification: Hold a recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification.
  • Previous Experience: Have previous experience in a nursery setting, demonstrating a genuine passion for early childhood education.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Child-Centred Approach: Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to promoting a child-centred and inclusive environment.
  • Team Player: Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture.
