Your Essential Duties:

  • Encourage Learning: Develop and facilitate activities that captivate young minds and promote comprehensive development.
  • Prioritize Safety: Maintain a secure and nurturing environment where children feel valued and cared for.
  • Monitor Development: Observe, assess, and document each child's progress, celebrating their successes and supporting their growth.
  • Foster Communication: Establish strong, positive relationships with parents and colleagues, ensuring a supportive community.
  • Maintain a Joyful Space: Keep the learning environment organized, clean, and filled with resources that inspire curiosity and joy.

Your Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A Level 2 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent) is required, along with a DBS Check.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar position with a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is essential.
  • Key Skills: Proficient in child development, effective communication, and teamwork. Exceptional organizational skills are a must.
  • Additional Certifications: First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates are advantageous, demonstrating your commitment to safety and well-being.

All pay rates quoted will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position may initially be temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent later.
