Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Receptionist to join our team at The Highgate Care Home. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our residents, their families, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and manage new enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide advice and support to residents, their families, and internal teams, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Conduct show-arounds within the care home and provide information about our services and facilities.
  • Support the Home Manager and Administrator with clerical duties, such as maintaining paperwork and filing.
  • Deal with enquiries and ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and internal teams.
  • A friendly and approachable manner, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to handle a varied workload.
  • A caring attitude and a commitment to making a positive difference to people's lives.
