As a SEN Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to join a highly regarded Specialist Institution dedicated to supporting young individuals aged 12 who experience challenges related to emotional, social, and mental health.

Your role will be crucial in assisting the Class Teacher and the students in their educational journey within a secure and nurturing environment.

Role Expectations

In your capacity as a Support Assistant, you will be responsible for nurturing the children and enhancing their educational experiences both within the school and in external environments.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience working with SEN in a primary educational setting
  • Level 2 or higher in Teaching & Learning in Schools
  • Experience in a Specialist Educational Environment (SEN), whether employed or voluntary
  • Knowledge and experience with students who have SEN or SEMH/ASD
  • A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle
