Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will operate independently, delivering nursing care to the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) population, managing an individual case load, and utilizing consultations to identify, evaluate, and diagnose patients with intricate health requirements, minor injuries, minor ailments, and specific conditions within their expertise.

Job Duties
Responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based, and individualized patient care.
- Overseeing the management of patients with chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, chronic heart disease, and hypertension, ensuring the Chronic Disease Register is accurately maintained.
- Performing technical nursing treatments and procedures for patients with complex healthcare needs, including wound care, sutures removal, ECGs, cytology, audiometry, and ear care.
- Coordinating the development of health plans to address patient needs, including diagnostic tests, treatment strategies, health promotion, and preventative measures.
- Facilitating the development and delivery of specialized services, such as long-term disease management, acting as a regional resource for advice and regional clinics.

All new employees to the Ministry of Defence will undergo a probationary period of six months from their start date. Successful candidates must meet security requirements prior to appointment.
