Global Sales Director for Travel Sector

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our efforts in the travel sector. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a market outreach plan to identify and target key travel industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to achieve aggressive revenue targets within the travel sector.
- Identify and build relationships with key travel industry stakeholders, including travel agencies, airlines, airports, tour operators, cruise ships, and hotel chains.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Track and analyze sales performance data to inform sales strategies and initiatives.
- Prepare regular sales reports to provide insights into sales performance and pipeline development.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in selling to companies in the travel sector.
- Established network of contacts in the travel industry and knowledge of ancillary products and services.
- Experience selling digital goods, SaaS, and/or innovative solutions to clients.
- Minimum of 7 years of sales, consulting, or marketing experience.
- Strong business development skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level executives.
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, market trends, and customer behaviors.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and persuade.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven individual.
