Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Underwriting Assistant at Aviva. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the underwriting process and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the evaluation and assessment of risk profiles to ensure accurate and timely underwriting decisions
  • Collaborate with underwriters to gather and analyze data, and provide recommendations to support underwriting decisions
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our underwriting policies and procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including underwriters, agents, and brokers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance underwriting efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
