About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Morgan Sindall Property Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the financial control, reporting, and commercial performance management of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day financial control and reporting of projects
  • Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor to manage cash flow, invoicing, and payment
  • Administer subcontract accounts and ensure timely certification and invoicing
  • Contribute to the development of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial reports to stakeholders

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor who holds a Level 4 in Quantity Surveying or similar. You will have a good understanding of measurement and valuation, budgets, and forecast management. Knowledge of cyclical and planned maintenance, as well as experience working on Decarbonisation/Retrofit works, would be beneficial. You will also have a good level of competency in IT systems and packages.
