Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in the Kent area. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve Quantity Surveying systems and processes
  • Consult with clients, suppliers, and manufacturers to determine project requirements and discuss issues
  • Produce monthly valuations, control weekly wage bookings, and manage non-recoverable costs
  • Monitor cash collection and report on project progress
  • Seek information from suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accurate variations and non-recoverable costs
  • Attend meetings and be aware of current Health & Safety Legislation and legal requirements
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
  • Strong background and work experience in Construction
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good level of education (degree level)
  • High level of numeracy and reasoning ability
  • Pro-active and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work under own initiative and excellent communication skills
