With extensive experience in offering insurance to both traditional and emerging sectors, CFC's P&C department is the preferred choice for property, environmental, and general liability risks.Role Overview
As a P&C Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for developing and underwriting profitable business, collaborating closely with the Head of Property & Casualty and your underwriting peers across various areas, including new business development, fostering broker relationships, and addressing P&C inquiries from other product line underwriters.- Respond promptly and professionally to new business inquiries and renewal submissions from brokers, ensuring a first-class service to generate quotations within established service level agreements and authority limits;
- Prepare and present internal and external briefings on CFC products, key market trends, and emerging risks;
- Contribute positively to team performance metrics;
- Promote P&C team capabilities through existing and new relationships, including attending business trips as necessary.
- Assist in generating reports and statistics to support the evaluation of team performance.
Candidate Profile
We seek driven, self-motivated individuals with a robust work ethic. You should possess a solid understanding of the Property and/or Casualty market and have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the insurance sector, specifically in underwriting or broking commercial risks within this product line.You will be expected to operate at a high pace and intensity that supports the successful framework of CFC and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate our ambitious growth objectives.
- Articulate and persuasive - you should be comfortable presenting to both small and large audiences;
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform effectively under pressure;
- Demonstrated progression in professional qualifications (e.g., CII/ACII);
- Above all, you should be a team player with a passion for P&C business.
