Job Title: Assessor/Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assessor/Tutor to join our team at NVQ Assessor. As an Assessor/Tutor, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners working towards Apprenticeships and Traineeships in IT Infrastructure Technician and IT Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and support learners in their IT Infrastructure Technician and IT Solutions Apprenticeships.
  • Mentor learners in their work placements and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
  • Organize and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise, and motivate learners to achieve their goals.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPIs regarding timely assessments, quality paperwork, and general administration.
  • Work to learner review and completion timescales.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a recognized Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA.
  • Experience in delivering full Apprenticeships in Information Communication Technician up to Level 3.
  • Must hold solid, occupational competency in providing IT support through I.T networking/troubleshooting and roles such as IT Solutions Technician; Support Analyst; Systems Analyst; Service Desk or Technical Service Support etc.
  • Full driving license and use of own vehicle.
  • Flexibility is required with working hours and travel, as and when required to meet learners' needs.
