Job Summary

Cadent Gas is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Advisor to join our team in the West Midlands network. As a key member of our OH team, you will provide comprehensive and high-quality services to protect and enhance the health of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based and objective Occupational Health services, including case management referrals, fitness for work advice, health surveillance, and health and wellbeing promotion.
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships with network managers, SHE specialists, and HR advisers.
  • Support the development of Occupational Health policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze service delivery metrics, including SLAs, KPIs, and health data.
  • Support the OH technician in delivering the health assessment and health surveillance program.
  • Provide proactive health initiatives and promote effective utilization of support services.
Requirements
  • Broad experience in Occupational Health nursing.
  • Competence in undertaking core health assessment tasks, including respiratory, audio, visual, vibration, and driving.
  • Experience in mental health and wellbeing assessment.
  • Experience working in a remote team as a peripatetic practitioner.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
