We are working with a Primary School in the Knowle area of Solihull to find an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position involves working with a young child with SEND needs in a mainstream class.
Main Responsibilities:- Support a SEND pupil on a 1:1 basis
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for the pupil and other students
- Ensure the child remains focused on lesson plans
- Develop tailored support methods based on the child's needs and mood
- Follow safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
- Experience in supporting children with challenging behavior
- Comfortable providing personal care where required
- Able to adapt to the pupil's varied moods
- Available full-time until July 2024
