Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Chemist to join our team at Science Solutions Recruitment Ltd. As a Development Chemist, you will play a key role in the development of new products and formulations, working closely with our clients in the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Lead the development of new products, from concept to launch, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates throughout the project.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage projects from concept through to launch, ensuring that all necessary requirements are met, including shelf life determination, production trials, and costing.
  • Stakeholder Management: Present projects to key stakeholders in the business, including senior management and clients.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to the Commercial team, addressing technical issues and providing expertise on product development.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all chemical ingredients meet all necessary safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Work within health and safety guidelines set by the business, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Chemistry degree or relevant subject.
  • Experience: Proven experience in product development, project management, and technical support.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of chemistry, project management, and technical support.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, confident, and able to work independently.
