Join Our Team as a Formulation Chemist

Science Solutions Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Formulation Chemist to join our team. As a Formulation Chemist, you will be responsible for managing projects, developing new products, and overseeing the entire product development process.

About the Role:

• Lead the development of new products, from concept to launch
• Manage projects, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates
• Present projects to key stakeholders, including senior management and clients
• Review project briefs, create development plans, and address requirements such as shelf life determination, production trials, and costing
• Work closely with the Regulatory team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Participate in lab activities, including production trials and quality control
• Provide technical support to the Commercial team, including product development and technical sales
• Assist the Quality Manager in addressing technical issues, such as out-of-specification results
• Participate in production trials related to development projects
• Ensure all chemical ingredients meet all necessary safety and regulatory requirements
• Work within health and safety guidelines set by the company
• Support the Research and Development Manager in developing new products and technologies

Requirements:

• Chemistry degree or relevant subject
• Ability to manage projects, ideally with some project management experience
• Ideal background in FMCG, Healthcare, Biocides, Cosmetics, or Detergents
• Proactive and confident individual capable of dealing with responsibility
