McCarthy Stone is in search of a committed Support and Care Specialist, including some household responsibilities, to become part of their exceptional team.

Work Schedule: 20 hours per week, with a flexible mix of weekdays and weekends.

Salary Range: £11.58 to £12.88* per hour for evening and weekend shifts.

Role Overview: As a Support and Care Specialist, you will deliver top-notch individual care to our residents, helping them enjoy their later years. Your responsibilities will include housekeeping and domestic assistance throughout the estate, including cleaning apartments. Your tasks will vary and involve encouraging residents to engage in activities that promote their health and well-being. You will assist them in scheduling appointments, arranging transportation, and, when necessary, accompany them on outings and help with shopping. Each day will present new challenges, allowing you to utilize your interpersonal skills to make a significant impact.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the estate.
  • Ideally possess at least 1 year of experience in UK Health and Social Care.
  • A warm and friendly demeanor, with some background in care or support settings preferred.
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the well-being and happiness of older adults, with a desire to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • An interest in pursuing a career in Health and Social Care, with a preference for candidates holding a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, though alternative qualifications and relevant experience will be considered.
