About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Central Lancashire Home Based Treatment Team (HBTT) at Royal Preston Hospital. This is a full-time (10PA) substantive post that offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities

The postholder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a 24/7 service for people in Preston, Chorley, and South Ribble. The consultant psychiatrist will carry a compact caseload of complex and unstable cases, while also being available to provide consultation and advice to other team members.

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
  • On GMC Specialist register or within 6 months
  • Section 12 approved or within 3 months
  • AC status or within 3 months
  • Knowledge, skills, and experience relevant to this post
