Job Description

We are seeking skilled and experienced chefs to join our team at Scattergoods Agency. As a chef with our agency, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including restaurants, sports clubs, and catering events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, ensuring that food is cooked and presented according to health and safety regulations.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication.
  • Client Satisfaction: Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements:
  • Professional Experience: Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen.
  • Cooking Knowledge: Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Certifications: Health and Food Safety Level 2 and Allergens Certification.
Work Environment:

As a chef with our agency, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including schools, golf clubs, contract catering, hotels, and care homes. Locations include Surrey and Hampshire, with a range of flexible working hours available.

Benefits:
  • Competitive Pay: £15.50 to £17.50 per hour (PAYE), with benefits including holiday pay, flexible hours, and pension contribution.
