Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Newport. As a key member of our store management team, you'll be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  2. Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve store standards, recruitment, and stock control.
  4. Collaborate with the Store Manager to empower your team to maximize sales and performance across all primary KPIs.
  5. Inspire and motivate your team to create a fantastic place to shop and work.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  1. Experience in working within the retail sector with a minimum of 1 year's management experience.
  2. Flexibility to work a flexible shift pattern across 7 days a week.
  3. Passion for retail and a proven track record of delivering high standards and great results.
  4. Ability to take on 6 months of industry-leading training covering all key aspects of the role.
