Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead UI Software Engineer to join our team at Kite Consulting Group. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the UI development of a new in-house built platform for a leading global financial services client based in London.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and will pay a starting base up to £110k plus benefits. You will report to the Head of Software Engineering and will be responsible for assessing the current setup and making recommendations for the future vision of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the UI development of a new in-house built platform
  • Assess the current setup and make recommendations for the future vision
  • Work with senior management to develop a comprehensive plan for the platform's development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UI components
  • Develop and maintain high-quality UI components using React and TypeScript

Requirements

  • Previous experience leading the UI development of a major programme
  • Strong knowledge of React (ideally 16/17) and TypeScript (ideally 4/5)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
