Gattaca is in search of a dedicated and experienced Business Continuity Planner & Resilience Advisor. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security and resilience of essential business functions within a highly regulated sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Consultation: Deliver specialized advice and support to enhance organizational resilience and business continuity, in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Incident Management: Assist in the incident management process for operations, ensuring that business priorities are maintained during emergencies.
- Plan Formulation: Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to create and update business continuity plans, conduct business impact assessments, and develop disaster recovery strategies.
- Risk Assessment: Provide insights to teams regarding risks associated with critical business assets, including information security and facility management.
- Resilience Drills: Participate in the design and execution of resilience drills to improve the organization’s readiness and response capabilities.
- Ongoing Development: Support the integration of lessons learned from exercises to enhance resilience planning and promote continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Certification: Possess a recognized qualification in Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk Management, or a related discipline, or demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Program Development Experience: Proven track record in establishing Business Continuity programs aligned with ISO22301 or resilience frameworks aligned with ISO22316 in a corporate or regulated context.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to identify and engage key stakeholders effectively, fostering strong partnerships to achieve organizational goals.
- Performance Evaluation: Experience in facilitating audits and reviews of business continuity and resilience initiatives, with a focus on ongoing enhancement.
- Best Practices Knowledge: Strong grasp of enterprise resilience and business continuity best practices.
- Industry Familiarity: Knowledge of standards and frameworks in Enterprise Resilience, Business Continuity, and Emergency Management, particularly in regulated sectors.
- Project Management Skills: Proficient in project management methodologies, with experience in supporting significant projects and initiatives.
- Technical Documentation: Capable of drafting procedures, reports, and providing clear guidance to team members.
- Effective Communication: Skilled in delivering presentations and training sessions to diverse audiences across the organization.
