We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Surveyor to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our Property and Legal Department, you will be responsible for managing the estate and implementing property and planning strategies across our shared and unilateral network.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day estate management in allocated sites, providing expert guidance and direction to internal departments and external partners.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on property-related matters, including new code agreement renewals, shared or unilateral shareholder programs, exit management, and rent reviews.
- Develop and implement business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, introducing innovation and best practices to drive results.
- Provide support to stakeholders in acquisition, legal deployment, and transmission functions, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to resolve site-specific issues, providing pragmatic and prudent advice to ensure cost-effective implementation.
- Maximize cost savings and prevention through effective use of the ECC, driving business objectives and goals.
- Proven property knowledge and experience in business process and transformational change.
- Demonstrable experience in an operator, managed service supplier, or small works contractor environment, or as a chartered surveyor in a commercial property, professional services, or valuation capacity.
- Property-related qualifications, such as RICS or CAAV membership, or comparable experience.
- Knowledge of the Digital Economy Act and experience of compulsory purchase.
