Manchester SEND is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Education and Mental Health Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will work one-to-one with students who have social emotional and mental health needs, providing tailored support to help them overcome barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Maths and English sessions to students with social emotional and mental health needs
- Work closely with students to understand their individual needs and develop personalized learning plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to help students build confidence and self-esteem
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless support and a consistent approach
Requirements
- Teaching qualification and experience working with students with EHCPs
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging Maths and English sessions
- Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people
