About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with severe and enduring mental health problems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of referrals and admissions to the service, utilizing your expertise to diagnose and formulate effective management plans.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and promoting a collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Develop and implement service clinical priorities, aligning with national and professional guidance and standards.
  • Engage with service transformation programs, contributing to the development of innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Work in partnership with external partners, including Forensic and Rehabilitation Psychiatrists, to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree and Specialist Register status.
  • GMC Registration and Approved Clinician status (desirable).
