Job Title: Production Test Engineer at Leonardo

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Production Test Engineer to join their team in the Radar and Advanced Targeting division in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about working in a high-tech company that plays a crucial role in Aerospace, Defence, and Security industries.

The Radar and Advanced Targeting division is a leading manufacturer of radars, lasers, and infrared countermeasure systems worldwide. As a Test Engineer, you will collaborate with the Operations team, establish cross-functional relationships, and contribute positively to the business's future.

Your tasks will involve working on radar systems for fighter jets, surveillance technology for coast guards, and cutting-edge avionic systems for military aircraft. You will be responsible for conducting test and fault diagnosis of complex system level products, performing RF testing and electrical safety testing, collaborating with Project, Quality, and Engineering teams, adhering to test specifications and technical drawings, and maintaining effective communication and product testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting test and fault diagnosis of complex system level products
  • Performing RF testing and electrical safety testing
  • Collaborating with Project, Quality, and Engineering teams
  • Adhering to test specifications and technical drawings
  • Maintaining effective communication and product testing procedures

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • HND or above in system, electrical, RF engineering
  • Knowledge of electrical motors, gimbals, and measurement principles
  • Experience with RF and Microwave technology is advantageous
  • Familiarity with cleanroom work environments and safety practices
