Job Title: Test Engineer

Job Summary:

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and testing of complex radar and avionics systems for the aerospace and defence industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans for system-level products and sub-assemblies
  • Perform fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex electrical and RF systems
  • Develop and implement test procedures and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and handover of products
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles

Requirements:

  • HND or above in system, electrical, or RF engineering
  • Strong understanding of electrical motors, gimbals, and measurement principles
  • Experience with RF and microwave technology, as well as clean room working practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
