About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our commissioned service, delivering high-quality activity sessions to children and young people aged 8-18 with special education needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead activity sessions, maintaining a high standard of service, and liaising with parents and managing group bookings.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities suitable for diverse age groups and abilities, ensuring all paperwork, including risk assessments and consent forms, is completed and up-to-date.
  • Manage group transport, and drive a vehicle if required, to facilitate group transport.
Requirements
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities suitable for diverse age groups and abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities is desirable.
