Job Advert Role Description

We are eager to expand our dedicated team of support assistants at Lammas Lodge, a part of Priory Adult Care.

Do you believe in providing exceptional care and support to everyone? Are you passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of others? Do you wish to assist individuals in reaching their personal goals and dreams?

Our commitment lies in delivering outstanding care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome, or mental health challenges. As a support assistant, you will play a vital role in numerous inspiring stories of care and support for our residents.

In this role, you will assist residents in their daily activities, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You may also engage in exciting outings, as our residents enjoy participating in various activities, including day trips and community events.

The ideal support assistant will possess:

Reliability, friendliness, and a caring nature to help residents achieve their daily objectives (including personal care) The ability to support in-house activities and hobbies Attentiveness and the ability to inspire residents to reach their potential Resilience to assist in managing challenging behaviors

While having a driving license is beneficial for taking residents on outings, it is not a requirement, as we welcome non-drivers as well.
