About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Risk Management Specialist to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. As a key member of our Risk Management function, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Risk Management Frameworks
    • Design and implement risk management frameworks to ensure effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and Analysis
    • Conduct thorough risk assessments and analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses.
  • Monitor and Report on Risk Exposure
    • Monitor and report on risk exposure to senior management and the Board of Directors.
    • Provide regular updates on risk trends and emerging risks.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders
    • Collaborate with business leaders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective risk management.
    • Provide guidance and support to business units on risk management best practices.
Requirements
  • Advanced Degree in a Relevant Field
    • Master's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or risk management.
  • Proven Risk Management Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on enterprise risk management.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication Skills
    • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex risk information to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Frameworks and Regulations
    • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulations, including Basel III and Solvency II.
