As a vital member of the Editorial Integrated Partnerships team at Telegraph Media Group, you will play a key role in enhancing our content collaborations. Our team is expanding due to our ongoing success, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to help shape partnerships that resonate with both brands and our audience.

Role Overview

In the position of Content Partnerships Editor, your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our content collaborations, specifically within the realms of Lifestyle, Travel, or Sport. You will collaborate closely with a Commercial Editor to maximize the success of these partnerships, working with Brand Partnerships Leads to secure pitches and deliver exceptional content that drives subscriptions and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a Commercial Editor to engage clients proactively, guiding them in developing high-quality concepts that yield significant results and foster subscription growth.
  • Oversee the management of your digital content, ensuring all relevant team members are well-informed and that every element meets the established brief before final approval.
  • Ensure that all content produced under your direction adheres to the highest standards, aligns with Telegraph's house style, and meets deadlines consistently.
  • Edit content meticulously to maintain first-class quality prior to the sub-editing phase.
  • Work in tandem with Project Management to ensure that partnerships operate efficiently and proactively, ensuring thorough planning and optimization of every campaign.
  • Manage the sourcing and negotiation of talent for campaigns, ensuring the selection of the most relevant individuals at competitive rates.
  • Strive to become an expert in processes, client communications, and compliance issues, while optimizing SEO and leveraging relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to develop innovative sales ideas and refine pitch presentations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated editorial, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A strong team player who is self-motivated and proactive in seeking improvements and solutions, consistently aiming for high-quality content and impactful results.
  • A robust network of freelance writers.
  • Some experience in client relations and a solid understanding of the industry landscape.
  • Experience in content commissioning, editing, and managing successful projects from inception to completion.
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and pressure, coupled with a positive, problem-solving mindset.
